Biography
Maan on the Moon is a duo of electronic music producers from the USA. John Raays and Smil met in 2011 around a shared interest in the sound of 1960s soul label Tamla Motown and other iconic artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire or pop stars Madonna and ABBA. In 2011, work began on an album, the first single from which was finally released five years later. In 2016, the single "Scar " offers a fairly accurate picture of the duo's aesthetic, which oscillates between futuristic R&B and delicate electro-pop.
