Lynda Jean Córdova Carter, born on July 24, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American actress and singer. She began performing at a young age. In the early 1970s, she toured with the band The Garfin Gathering. She released her debut studio album Portrait in May 1978. Her next albums were At Last (released June 9, 2009), then Crazy Little Things (released April 19, 2011), and later Red Rock N' Blues (2018). Throughout her career, Carter has been recognized for her contributions to both music and acting. She received a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in 2014, a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Gracie Awards in 2016, and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 3, 2018.
