Biography
South Korean girl group Lunarsolar (formed by JPlanet Entertainment) comprising Eseo, Taeryeong, Jian and Yuuri, made their debut with top 40 single album Solar: Flare on September 2, 2020, featuring the track "Oh Ya Ya Ya." The group followed up with the track "Dadada," preceding the release of second single album, Solar: Rise, on April 7, 2021, which charted at number 48. Upon receiving a nomination for the Female Idol Popularity Award at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards, Lunarsolar signed with Teichiku Entertainment, entering the Japanese music industry later that year, releasing holiday album Christmas Is You on December 8, which failed to chart. Their fourth album, Do You Wanna Get Down, was released on May 23, 2022, heralding the group’s disbandment.
