Ludwik Konopko, born on December 7, 1970, in Lviv, Ukraine, was a Polish guitarist and composer. At age 19, he debuted at the Lviv National Philharmonic. In 1989, he formed Tea Fan Club (TFC) in Ukraine. He moved to Poland in 1991 and founded bands like Cocotier and Acoustic Travel Band. Konopko supported Al di Meola at the Non-Stop Festival in Wroclaw in 2005. From 2014 to 2016, he collaborated with Drzewo a Gada, and from 2016 to 2018 with Que Passa. He was part of the Pilar band from 2012 until his death and founded ZOA Band in 2019. Releases include Free Time (2021) and RAIA (2021). His compositions received awards such as a Special Mention from the International Songwriting Awards (UK) in 2022. Konopko died on July 6, 2024.
