Gerard Ekdom, born March 26, 1978, in Utrecht, Netherlands, is a Dutch radio DJ. He began his career at local station Radio De Bilt at fourteen. Ekdom's breakthrough came when he was hired by Stadsomroep Utrecht after meeting DJ Fred Siebelink. In 1998, he started working for 3FM, hosting shows like "Arbeidsvitaminen" and "Effe Ekdom". He co-hosted the annual fundraising radio show 3FM Serious Request multiple times, raising funds for various charities. Ekdom also hosted television shows such as Toppop3 and the Dutch version of Fort Boyard. From 2015 to 2018, he worked at NPO Radio 2 before moving to Radio 10. He released a 2011 single named "Jaalalala 2011!" and a 2016 compilation album of his works titled Hidden Treasures.
