Biography
Lucifer is a doom metal band founded in 2014 by singer Johanna Sadonis. The group's original members predominantly hailed from Berlin and London, with the band itself eventually moving to Stockholm. In 2015, Lucifer released the debut singles "Anubis" and "Izrael." The debut album Lucifer I followed that same year. After a few personnel changes, the follow-up album Lucifer II was released in 2018. The album reached number 20 in Sweden and also entered the German charts at number 40. Two years later, the third studio album Lucifer III was released, making it into the top 20 of the charts in both Germany and Sweden. In 2021, the band released Lucifer IV, which was unable to match the success of its predecessors. At the beginning of 2024, Lucifer returned to the Top 40 with Lucifer V, which reached number 32 in Germany.
