Biography

Lucette Raillat was born in Lyon on January 1, 1929. She began her artistic career on stage in 1953 in À chacun sa vérité by Pirandello. In 1954, she gained fame as a singer with La Môme aux boutons, written by Pierre Louki and Jacques Lacôme, and released several records with Polydor throughout the 1950s and 1960s. She also toured with Les Chaussettes Noires in Algeria in 1963. Raillat appeared in Georges Lautner’s 1958 film La Môme aux boutons and returned to cinema in 1991 in Riens du tout by Cédric Klapisch. She was active in theatre and television into the 1990s. She died on November 29, 2024, in Villeneuve-Loubet.
