Biography
Lucas & Arthur Jussen are a Dutch piano duo, consisting of brothers Lucas Jussen and Arthur Jussen. Born in Hilversum on February 27, 1993, and September 28, 1996 respectively, they began their musical journey at an early age under the guidance of their parents, both musicians. Their breakthrough came in November 2006 when they performed Concerto for Two Pianos by Mozart with the Radio Chamber Philharmonic at Amsterdamâs Concertgebouw. In March 2010, Lucas & Arthur Jussen signed with Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft and released their debut album, Beethoven: Piano Sonatas. Notable releases include Schubert: Impromptus and Mozart: Double Piano Concertos. They received several awards, including the 2011 Concertgebouw Young Talent Award and the 2018 Opus Klassik in the Classical category for Children.
