Biography

Francisco Plascencia, better known as Los del Convoy, is a Mexican singer-songwriter and creator of the "electro psiquiátrico" movement. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and raised in Sonora, he grew up in a musically inclined family, inspired by his father, a hobbyist songwriter whose compositions were recorded by renowned artists like La Banda Cuisillos and El Hijo de Chalino Sánchez. He began writing songs at just eight years old, guided by his father's encouragement to innovate beyond conventional musical formulas. His journey took him through Sonora, Phoenix, Guadalajara, and Los Angeles, where he initially pursued songwriting as a personal passion rather than a career. After moving to the United States and with motivation from his brother, he embraced music professionally, forming a duo with a collaborator who shared his vision. Together, they released their debut single "Elefantes Rosas" in 2024, followed by "Rikachan," and "La Venganza del M1" later that year. In 2025, Los del Convoy collaborated with Ozz on the electro track "Babidibu."
