Biography

Los 2 de la S are a Regional Mexican duo from Mocorito, Sinaloa—Jesús Omar Tarazón Medina (Omar Tarazón) and Juan Pablo Zazueta Acosta (Johnny Zazueta)—who joined forces around 2017 and quickly leaned into a punchy, crowd-ready style that fit the live circuit as much as studio releases. Their early momentum was tied to recordings built for performance energy, including the live set En Vivo desde El Foro Lizos Music (2019) and the album La Barda Me Volé (2020). In 2020 they widened their profile with the Banda MS collaboration “Somos Los Que Somos,” followed by industry attention that included Premio Lo Nuestro nominations (including recognition as a new duo and for Regional Mexican song categories) and a Premios Juventud nomination for that collaboration. Rather than staying locked into one format, they kept cycling between solo projects and guest-heavy releases, moving into Fiesta, Fiesta (2023) and Los 2 de la S y Sus Amigos (2023), then Me Brinqué la Fila (2024). Their 2025 run paired full-length projects like Pasajes de Chamaco and Por El Puro Gusto Vol. 2 with singles that traveled fast on the live-to-fan pipeline, including “La Que Me Bateaba” (2025), before they opened 2026 with “Ya Crucé.”
