Biography
American DJ and musician Salvatore Lodato (known as LODATO) was born on July 7, 1987. Releasing his debut single in 2014, âWelcome to My Headâ, he soon made a name for himself remixing for artists such as Clean Bandit and Twenty One Pilots, attracting attention from popular DJs Tiësto, Steve Aoki, and David Guetta. His first two collaborative singles âOlderâ with Joseph Duveen (2016), and âDoomsdayâ with VASSY) (2018), reached number 1 on the Billboard Dance Club charts. In 2019, he released his original single âHOMEâ peaked at number 1 on the U.S Dance Radio Chart and Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay Charts, followed by âGoodâ the following year, which attained similar success. In 2020, Lodatoâs remix of Dua Lipaâs âBreak My Heartâ received considerable airplay, seeing him sign with Spinnin Records later in the year, releasing his third original single âNeon Lightsâ in May, 2021. In 2022, Lodato released three more collaborative singles; âYou Canât Make Me Comeâ with singer Felix Samuel and DJ Quando, âNo Moneyâ with 7 Skies and Stistema and âDonât Cryâ with Ally Ahern, alongside remixes of R3HABâs âMy Ponyâ and Lena Leonâs âSpiralâ.
