Biography

Lo Faber, born May 20, 1966, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, is a songwriter and musician. He co-founded the New York City jam band God Street Wine in 1986, serving as the primary songwriter and band leader alongside Aaron Maxwell. The band gained a following through performances at venues like The Wetlands Preserve and Nightingales bar, leading to several years of touring and recording from 1992 until their disbandment in 1999. Faber pursued solo projects post-God Street Wine, releasing the rock musicals Henry's House (2001) and Friday Night Freakshow (2003). In 2019, Faber released Bottomland under the pseudonym Doctor Lo, followed by Claiborne Avenue in 2021.
