Biography

Lili Haydn, born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a violinist, singer-songwriter, and composer. She began her career as a child actress but shifted to music after discovering the violin at eight. By 15, she performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Haydn released her debut album, Lili, in 1997 under Atlantic Records. She toured as an opening act for Jimmy Page and Robert Plant's 1998 North American tour. Her subsequent albums include Light Blue Sun (2003) and Place Between Places (2008). Haydn has composed film scores, including The Horse Boy (2009) and The Town (2010), and won a Grammy Award in 2019 for the album Opium Moon.
