Zoro is a Japanese rock ensemble from Mie Prefecture established in January 2007. The group consists of the musicians Ryuuji, Tatsuhi, Taizo, and Yuuya. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized as visual kei and pop music. The ensemble was formed from former members of the ensemble Soroban. Their recording career began with the mini-album APOLLO (2007). Zoro achieved professional recognition for the song âLost Technologyâ (2008) which reached number 8 on the Oricon indie chart and the studio recording Cosmo -Stainless Music- (2008). Their discography included the song âPlayearâ (2009) and the studio recording Core (2009). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the song âGOLD CARDâ (2010) and the song âHOUSEã»OFã»MADPEAKâ (2010) which reached number 3 on the Oricon indie chart. Their recording career included the studio recording KIGA (2010). The ensemble became inactive in December 2010 and resumed activity in July 2011 on the label Jesse Records. Zoro achieved professional recognition for the song âPOLICEâ (2011) and the song âHOWLâ (2012) which served as the ending theme for the television program The Hunter: Kochira Chikyu Joho-kyoku. The ensemble became inactive in May 2015 and resumed activity in October 2025.
