Biography

A meteoric band, Les Olivensteins from Rouen released just one single before disappearing. Released in the spring of 1979, "Fier de ne rien faire" (Proud of doing nothing) has become an absolute rarity, yet it left a lasting mark on the history of French punk. The band formed by brothers Eric and Gilles Tandy, who borrowed their name from a well-known psychiatrist, scuttled in 1980. The recorded material was released in 2011 on the Les Olivensteins compilation.
