A classically trained pianist who transitioned from sound engineering to film scoring, Pascal Lengagne spent fifteen years studying piano before teaching himself composition. After serving as a sound technician for Radio France and Partizan, he began scoring major international spectacles, including the 1998 World Cup and the 2004 Paralympics. Lengagneâs career accelerated in 2011 upon winning an Audi Talents Award, which led to a symphonic performance at the Olympia alongside Hans Zimmer. Since 2015, Langagne has focused on cinema, collaborating with directors such as Marjane Satrapi and Olivier Nakache to create evocative, modern scores.
