Léman, whose real name is Clément Thibault Berthié, was born in Geneva and grew up in Châtillon-en-Michaille (Ain), then Sallanches (Haut-Savoie), before settling in Lyon (Rhône). He made a name for himself on social networks with a highly offbeat cover of the popular song "La Danse des canards ", France's best-selling single, giving it a melancholy tone. Beyond this unexpected version, he presents himself as a committed artist, notably unveiling a poem, La Voix de ce peuple, to mark his support for farmers during their protests. In 2017, he took part in The Voice, reaching the second "battles" stage. Following the singles "Petit garçon", "On attend" and "JVQTSM", Léman released his first EP in June 2024, entitled On Est Plein, a record ranked 116th in sales in France, comprising seven tracks that define his musical universe, somewhere between rock, pop and French chanson, always with that edgy commitment that fuels the politicized lyrics of the track "Les Plus bornés". Léman continues in a more pop vein with the songs "Les Ãtoiles", "Adieu musique" and "Le Chat", taken from his debut album Adieu Musique, which reached No. 111 in the SNEP charts on its release in October 2025.
