Lee Hyun Woo (real name Jessie Lee, born 6â¯Marchâ¯1966 in the Republic of Korea) is a South Korean pop singer whose career began in the early 1990s. After training in vocal performance, he debuted with the album Black Rainbow on 21â¯Januaryâ¯1991, which introduced his melodic style to the Korean music scene. The followâup releases ê¿ Remix (1992) and Today......But For Someday (1993) established him as a consistent pop artist, while the 1996 album Letâs Go Fishing saw a shift toward more mature themes. In 1998 he released Both Sides of the Story and Freewill of My Heart, the latter achieving significant radio play and charting within the top ten of the national singles list. Subsequent albums, including Viru..s (2000), Free Your Mind & Body (2001), and Da Painkiller (2003), expanded his discography and led to appearances on variety shows and television dramas such as Cats on the Roof (2003) and Wedding (2005). In 2004, Lee released a series of singles, including "My Dianna" and "Donât Stop", and continued to perform until the midâ2000s, after which he focused on acting and culinary projects.
