Biography

Lee Hwi-min (Korean: 이휘민; born August 5, 1994), professionally known as Lil Moshpit, is a South Korean hip-hop record producer and artist, best recognized as one-half of the acclaimed production duo GroovyRoom. Born in Incheon, Lee discovered his passion for hip-hop at an early age after listening to rapper Double K’s music in elementary school. By high school, he had started writing and producing songs, setting the foundation for his future in music. In 2022, under his alias Lil Moshpit, he made a striking solo debut with the album AAA. The project showcased his dynamic production style and artistic versatility, earning critical acclaim and securing the Hip Hop Album of the Year award at the Korean Hip-hop Awards. The name "Lil Moshpit" reflects his love for high-energy live shows and the moshpit culture he enjoys with friends at festivals and clubs. Following AAA, he continued to expand his sound with the 2023 collaborative EP Fleeky Season alongside rapper Fleeky Bang. In 2025, he released K-Flip with Sik-K, later re-released as K-Flip+, and the single “Thrill.”
