Lauren Flax is an American DJ, songwriter, and record producer. She began her musical journey at age eight playing drums, later moving on to guitar and bass during high school. Flax's DJ career started in Detroit's underground dance and rave scenes, where she played at venues like the Motor Lounge. Her first single as a solo artist was "You've Changed" featuring vocals by Sia, released in 2009. In 2018, Flax signed with DJ Haus, resulting in the release of Dance Trax Vol. 16. She joined The Bunker New York collective in 2019 and released One Manâs House is Another Womanâs Techno EP. The same year, she also toured the United States and Europe as a solo artist. She is a member of the Brooklyn-based band Creep with Lauren Dillard.
