Biography
Lugubre, a black metal band from the Netherlands, formed in 1999. The group's early background includes members with experience from other bands such as Salacious Gods and Winter of Sin. Lugubre released their debut album United In Mankind's Annihilation in 2001, followed by Anti-Human Black Metal in 2004. Their subsequent albums include Templi Omnium Hominum Pacis Abhas (2007) and Supreme Ritual Genocide (2010), which was noted for its stronger melodies, improved production, and more dynamic vocals compared to their earlier works. The band also released the EP Ressurrection of the Beast in 2008 and the compilation album Chaoskult (Hymns Of Destruction) in 2011.
