Els Amics de les Arts, a Catalan band formed in Barcelona in 2005 by Dani Alegret, Joan Enric Barceló, and Ferran Piqué, gained initial recognition with two self-produced demos, Catalonautes (2005) and Roulotte Polar (2006). Their breakthrough came with the album Bed & Breakfast (2009), which earned them a gold record for surpassing 30,000 copies sold and won multiple awards, including ten Premios Enderrock. Following this success, they released several notable albums: Espècies per catalogar (2012), Només d'entrar hi ha sempre el dinosaure (2014), and Un estrany poder (2017). Their music blends pop with electronic elements, often featuring witty lyrics and ironic themes. Els Amics de les Arts have performed extensively across Spain and Europe, including notable festivals like Cap Roig and Arenal Sound.
