Biography

The story goes that George Lynch of Lynch Mob, Doug Pinnick of Kings X and Ray Luzier of Korn met at a third birthday party for Luzier's son in Los Angeles in 2013. All seasoned hard rock and nu-metal veterans, it was superficially an unlikely alliance as each had forged a distinctive style and identity of their own from their previous bands. But after initially playing informal jam sessions, they felt they were creating something special and, using the initials of their respective bands for their name, they blended their musical styles to record their self-titled debut album the following year on Rat Pak Records. Their first single 'Rescue Me' created the big rock sound that came to characterise them, full of pounding drums and driving riffs. It was well received by the hard rock community which had embraced their previous bands and their second album 'Scatterbrain' was released in 2017, a more progressive effort than its predecessor, using ska, flamenco and pop influences.
