Kury, a Polish musical group, was formed in April 1992 by Tymon TymaÅski. Initially playing experimental rock music, Kury's style evolved towards electronic sounds over time. Their debut album, Kablox - niesÅyna histaria, recorded in 1994 at Polish Radio Szczecin studios, featured post-rock songs inspired by artists like Frank Zappa and King Crimson. In 1998, Kury released Polovirus, a compilation of pastiche songs that won the Alternative Album of the Year category at the Fryderyk Awards. Following the suicide of drummer Jacek Olter in January 2001, Kury continued to record and tour, releasing 100 lat undergroundu in 2001. The band disbanded in December 2003 but reunited for concerts in 2011 and 2012. In the fall of 2023, their album Polovirus was reissued by S7 record label on vinyl, CD, and cassette, receiving wide acclaim. In 2025, the band released Uno Lovis Party.
