Kumorigahara, a Japanese rock band formed in 2010, has experienced significant lineup changes and musical evolution over the years. The band started with an acoustic setup by Ishigaki and underwent several member changes until settling with its current lineup, including Shion on vocals, Viola Ito on guitar, a_kira on keyboards, Nishihira Shoto on bass, and Matsumura Yuta on drums. The band initially went by different names and had different members until they officially became known as Kumorigahara. They underwent a hiatus and later resumed with new energy, incorporating various musical influences and dynamics, evident in their works such as the split album Katakana/Kumorigahara released in August 2014. Kumorigahara has seen members come and go, contributing to their evolving sound. They officially released their album Kumorigahara in December 2021, marking a significant phase in their journey. Following this, they continued to produce music, including the digital suite "Suiteã»Firefly Light"(2022) and a limited 7-inch analog "The Whale's Song Is Unheard"(2022) showcasing their unique style and thematic depth.
