(K)NoW_NAME is a Japanese music group formed in 2016 under Toho Animation Records, created by anime producer Masaya Saitou and music producer Mikami Masataka. The project assembled producers and musicians from Verygoo, including Makoto Miyazaki, R.O.N, Shuhei Mutsuki, Kohei by Simonsayz, Genki Mizuno, and eNu, and recruited vocalists Ayaka Tachibana, Nikiie, and Aij through an audition, establishing the group’s core lineup. Their first commercial release was the Harvest EP on 17 February 2016, featuring the ending theme for the anime Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. In 2020, they expanded their catalogue with the single "Welcome トゥ 混沌" on 13 January, serving as the opening theme for ドロヘドロ, and contributed the soundtrack TVアニメ「Fairy gone」オリジナルサウンドトラック released 15 January 2020. The group continued to produce anime music, releasing the album SPY x FAMILY (ORIGINAL TELEVISION SOUNDTRACK) on 21 December 2022, and issued the single "GOOD DAY" on 8 October 2022. Throughout its career, (K)NoW_NAME has maintained a focus on anime soundtracks, collaborating with various studios and producers, and has become a recognized name in the J‑pop and anime music industry, with consistent releases that have supported popular series such as Fairy Gone and SPY x FAMILY.
