Kingspade, an American rap duo, consisted of Johnny Richter and D-Loc. The duo debuted with "The Adventures of This" on the Sub-Noize Ratz compilation in 2003. Their first full-length album, Kingspade, was released in 2004, featuring hits such as "Drunk in the Club" and "High Riders". The group toured extensively before working on subsequent Kottonmouth Kings albums. In 2007, they released their second album, PTB. Following this release, Kingspade headlined their own tour and rejoined the Kottonmouth Kings' StrangeNoize Tour. In October 2013, Johnny Richter announced his departure from Kottonmouth Kings, leading to a hiatus for Kingspade. On December 2, 2017, a photo shared on Instagram showed D-Loc and Johnny Richter reunited, fueling speculation about renewed activity involving the group. Around the same time, a Kingspade Instagram account was launched, and D-Loc announced plans for a documentary covering the group's formation, career, and status. In 2019, the single "Who We" was released.
