South Korean singer, DJ, MC, and actor Kim Hyung-jun was born on August 3, 1987, in Seoul. He studied Information and Communication at Kyonggi University but pivoted to music, debuting in 2005 as the youngest member of the boy band SS501. Their rapid rise to fame included hits like "Snow Prince" and the establishment of their fan club, Triple S. In 2010, Kim Hyung-jun left DSP Media and signed with S-Plus Entertainment to pursue a solo career. His debut mini-album My Girl was released in March 2011 and soared to the top of the South Korean charts. That year, he also made his musical theater debut in Caffeine. Kim Hyung-jun's acting career began in earnest in 2012 with lead roles in the dramas My Shining Girl and Late Blossom. His performance in Late Blossom earned him the Rising Star Award at the K-Drama Star Awards. In 2013, Kim held his first solo concert, Kim Hyung Jun 'The First', in South Korea. He continued to expand his career with a role in the MBC drama Gold, Appear! and received the Fashionista Award at the Asian Model Awards. He also embarked on his first South American tour in 2014, performing in Peru, Chile, and Bolivia. Kim Hyung-jun continued his musical endeavors with the release of Escape in 2012 and participated in various television shows, including Running Man. In 2017, he released his third extended play, AM to PM.
