5tion is a Korean K-pop boyband pronounced 'Ocean'. Originally formed as a four-piece in 2001 the group has undergone several line-up changes over the years. Nine years after their initial formation, the band reformed but this time as a three-piece. Two years later brought another reformation as a five-piece, moving away from their previous output of ballads and into more upbeat dance music. The new line-up consisted three original members - Oh Byung-jin, Lee Hyun and Son Il-kwon - and two new members - Len and Boseok.
On 15th January 2017, the group was involved in an accident when the van in which they were travelling crashed into another vehicle. No-one was seriously injured. The band went on to release three more singles including 'Wanna Know You' in 2019.
