Kid Acne, born in 1978 in Lilongwe, Malawi, is an English emcee. He moved to Sheffield, South Yorkshire, to study Fine Art. In 1995, he formed the collective Invisible Spies with his brother Chips for the Poor and local friends. His first band, Brian & the Teenagers, released two singles in 1996 under their own label C U Next Tuesday, garnering critical acclaim. As a solo artist, he released his debut album Rap Traffic (2001). His subsequent albums include Council Pop (2003) and Romance Ain't Dead (2007), which was released internationally in 2008. He collaborated with various artists, including Infinite Livez on "Move It or Lose It" and Req One on multiple projects. He toured extensively across the UK and Europe.
