Taste, an Australian pop rock band, was formed in 1970 as Cloud Nine by Ken Murdoch and Michael Tortoni. The group initially released a debut single "Say Goodbye" produced by Ian Molly Meldrum in 1973. In 1975, the band changed their name to Taste after Joey Amenta replaced Tony Farrimond on vocals. Under the new name, they signed to Bootleg label and released their first album Tickle Your Fancy in July 1976, which peaked at number 18 on the Australian charts. Their biggest hit came with "Boys Will Be Boys", which peaked at number 14 in January 1977. The band's second album, Knights of Love, was released in September 1977 and included the singles "A Little Romance" and "Rebecca". Taste re-formed in the mid-2000s with Damian Corniola joining the group, releasing albums such as Rock is Dead (2007) and Life on Earth (2015).
