Biography

Kay Martin and Her Body Guards was a US musical group formed in 1953. The act gained popularity with their risquÃ© nightclub performances, securing top billing in Las Vegas and Reno casinos and touring extensively across the southern United States. Their first album, Kay Martin and Her Body Guards, was released in 1958 on Roulette Records. In 1962, they released their most notable recording, the Christmas album "I Know What He Wants for Christmasâ¦ but I don't know how to wrap it!". The group's live recordings were popular adult party albums, often sold at the door after performances. Kay Martin and Her Body Guards disbanded in 1963.
