Biography
Katzenjammer Kabarett was a French death rock and dark cabaret band formed in 2004. They drew musical inspiration from post-punk and gothic rock acts such as Bauhaus, Christian Death, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Their debut EP, Pour Vos Enfants (2005), was followed by the self-titled album Katzenjammer Kabarett (2006). They gained critical acclaim and performed at notable festivals including the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in 2006 and the Amphi Festival in 2007. A second album, Grand Guignol & Variétés (2009), was released shortly after. They disbanded in 2010.
