Biography

Kasper Winding, born in 1956 in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a Danish composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer. He began his career as a percussionist and drummer in the jazz scene during the 1970s, collaborating with notable artists such as Dexter Gordon and Karin Krog. Winding's breakthrough came when he contributed to the album Tattoo You by The Rolling Stones in 1981. From 1981 to 1984, he was a member of the pop group Shu-Bi-Dua. His work as a film composer earned him significant recognition, including a Robert award for his score on the film The Flying Devils in 1986. Winding's notable albums include No. 5 (1989), which featured hits like "Kom nu hjem" and "Alle har en drøm", and Daddy’s In Rare Form Tonight (1987). He has also produced music for various artists, including C.V. Jørgensen and Maya Albana.
