Katarzyna Maria Stankiewicz (born June 2, 1977), known professionally as Kasia Stankiewicz, is a Polish pop, indie pop, and pop rock singer from DziaÅdowo. Stankiewicz began a career in 1995 by performing a Varius Manx song in the television contest Szansa na sukces. In 1999, the singer released the debut solo album Kasia Stankiewicz. Stankiewicz collaborated with Tangerine Dream in 2001 on the recording "The Bridge Song". The singer released the album Extrapop in 2003, featuring the recordings "SchyÅek lata", "Francuzeczka", and "Saint Etienne". Stankiewicz released the album Mimikra in 2006, which included the recordings "4 rÄce", "Marzec", and "W Årodku myÅli". In 2008, the artist performed the recording "Baby w Meksyku" for the Martyna Jakubowicz album Te 30 Urodziny. Stankiewicz released the English-language album Lucy and the Loop in 2014. The singer resumed activity with Varius Manx for the 2016 album 25 live and a tour in 2017.
