Biography
Kartman, a 29-year-old Moroccan rapper and producer born and raised in Casablanca, draws inspiration from the musical diversity of his hometown. In 2017, he made a name for himself with Murky Marduk, a project that marked the beginning of his electronic alter ego, Azmatek, which led him to organize raves and experiment with different musical genres. At the age of 24, Kartman began producing beats and composing, developing a raw, experimental sound. He embodies many facets of his creative personality through his projects, including Kartman, Azmatek and Hamid. His music, a personal means of expression, reflects his emotions and daily experiences. He seeks to break the conventions of Moroccan rap, combining his unique artistic identity with a strong willingness to challenge industry norms. His landmark works include his album Azmatek (2020) and singles such as "Mewt" (2018) and "Krystal " (2021). Through his music, Kartman defends freedom of expression and aspires to inspire while challenging the limits imposed on the artist.
