Keren "Karolina" Avratz, known professionally as Karolina, was born on March 19, 1971, in Jaffa, Israel, and raised in Eilat. Her career began in 1999 with a track recorded under her given name Keren with Spoiled and Zigo. In 2000, she founded Funset, releasing their debut album Ragga Pumpkin in 2005, which received an ACUM award for composition. That same year, Karolina formed the trio Habanot Nechama with Yael Deckelbaum and Dana Adini, releasing their platinum-selling debut album in 2007. In 2011, she performed with Ziggy Marley during his tour in Israel. Karolina's solo album What Shall I Do Now? was released in December 2009 and won an ACUM award for its production by Sabbo and Kutiman.
