Karina Pasian, born on July 18, 1991, in New York City, is an American singer and pianist of Dominican and Armenian descent. She began piano lessons at age three and vocal training at eight. In 2003, Karina Pasian met Quincy Jones, who invited her to perform with him at a concert in Rome. Her breakthrough came when she won the Star Search competition and performed at the White House during Black Music Month in June 2007. At thirteen, Karina Pasian signed with Def Jam Records. Her debut album, First Love, was released in August 2008. In 2019, she joined Alejandro Sanzâs band as a backing vocalist for his tour. Karina Pasian's album, Something Warm to Wear, was released in December 2020.
