Kaci Deanne Brown, born on July 7, 1988, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, is an American pop and R&B singer. At the age of 13, she signed her first publishing deal with Still Working Music, a label owned by Barbara Orbison, the widow of Roy Orbison. She began performing weekly across the state before releasing her debut single "Unbelievable" in 2005. The music video for "Unbelievable" gained significant traction on MTV and reached number 18 on the MTV TRL Top 20 special, while the song peaked at Number 1 on Radio Disney. Kaci Brown's debut album Instigator was released on May 15, 2006, following her summer tour with the Backstreet Boys in 2005. In January 2006, a club remix of "Unbelievable" from Instigator reached the Top 30 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play charts. Her second single "Instigator", featuring rappers VA Slim and El Fudge, was released in May 2006 and charted at number 80 on Mediabase, number 9 on Hot Dance Music/Club Play, and number 13 on Hot Dance Single Sales. Kaxi Brown participated in the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus in January 2006, performing and offering songwriting advice. In 2017, she contributed to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's "That Girl" while also releasing the singles "Top Down" and "It's Not Christmas ('Til You Come Around)" as the country pop duo Brown and Gray with Sam Gray.
