JWiiver (ì ì´ìë²) was a South Korean boy group formed by Starweave Entertainment. Initially known as JTG Boys during their pre-debut phase in 2020, the group underwent significant changes after the merger of JTG Entertainment and Starweave Entertainment in 2021. The group officially rebranded as JWiiver and debuted on February 17, 2022, with their mini-album Jtrap. The groupâs name, JWiiver, symbolized their aim to connect and "weave" emotions and stories into their music. Their fandom, Jena (ì ë), supported them throughout their career. The final lineup featured seven members: Ryu Jay, Rihan, Chae Gaho, Lao Chi, Roshin, Gavin, and cast steel, showcasing diverse talents in vocal, rap, dance, and songwriting. Each member contributed unique skills, such as Rihan's leadership and choreography, Roshin and Lao Chi' powerful vocals, and Gavinâs impactful rap performances. In 2023, JWiiver participated in JTBCâs survival show Peak Time, further expanding their visibility in the K-pop scene. Later that year, member cast steel began his mandatory military enlistment. On January 11, 2024, member Lao Chi announced the groupâs disbandment through social media.
