Biography

Juse Ju (born June 25, 1982 in Kirchheim unter Teck) is a rapper, journalist and author from Germany. In his youth, he was one of the founders of the Popbiz Enemy collective. Back then, the artist, born Justus Hütter, took part in various freestyle jams in the Stuttgart area. Due to his numerous activities, the Nuremberg music label Highproductions became aware of the young artist in 2004. His first EP as Juse Ju, Der Ego, followed in 2005. It was not until 2009 that Juse Ju released Yo! Hip Hop hat mein Leben zerstört, his debut album. It was quite a while before the first major successes came. The breakthrough came in 2018 with the album Shibuya Crossing. The album with very personal songs about his childhood in Tokyo, El Paso and Kirchheim climbed to number 35. After the EP Untertreib nicht deine Rolle (2019), Juse Ju reached a remarkable number 11 in the German charts with his next album Millennium in 2020. Three years later, another album followed with Das Problem, das immer irgendwas passiert. Juse Ju makes it to number 18 in Germany. In May 2025, Juse Ju released the album BAWRS together with Edgar Wasser and Fatoni. The album reaches number 6 in the German charts.
