Fernando Costa Morales, known professionally as Fernandocosta, was born on July 14, 1995, in Ibiza, Spain. He is a rapper and singer whose music reflects his roots and personal experiences. From an early age, Fernando showed interest in rap, inspired by artists such as Violadores del Verso, Nach, SFDK, and ToteKing. His adolescence was marked by experiences that he later translated into his lyrics. Fernandocosta began gaining recognition in 2014 when he started releasing songs on digital platforms. His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album Yipiyou in June 2018, which established him as a significant figure in Spanish rap. In May 2022, he released his second studio album Tirititando, featuring notable tracks such as "Shorty" and "Hasta Cuando". That same year, Fernandocosta performed at the WiZink Center in Madrid, one of the most important venues in Spain, solidifying his status as a prominent artist. In 2024, he made an appearance in the film Matusalén, directed by David Galán Galindo. His subsequent albums include AMOR DE BARRIO (May 30, 2025) and DOLOR DE BARRIO (November 7, 2025), with his single "GRECOFERNANDA" released on November 4, 2025. Throughout his career, Fernandocosta has collaborated with notable artists such as Natos y Waor, Recycled J, Lia Kali, and Kase.O, and has performed at major festivals including Viña Rock, Arenal Sound, and Mad Cool.
