Josele Santiago is a Spanish rock singer, guitarist, and composer born on February 25, 1965, in Madrid. He performed with the group Johnny Comomollo y Sus Gánsters del Ritmo before joining Los Enemigos in 1984. Santiago became the lead vocalist of the ensemble following the departure of Javi and recorded albums including Ferpectamente (1986) and La vida mata (1990). After the band disbanded in 2002, he released his debut solo album, Las golondrinas etcétera, in 2004, which received best national album honors from Rockdelux and Rolling Stone. His solo discography included Garabatos (2006), Loco encontrao (2008), and Lecciones de vértigo (2011). Santiago resumed activity with Los Enemigos in 2011 while maintaining his solo career, releasing the group recording Bestieza in 2020. His later solo projects included the studio album Transilvania (2017) and the live recording Conde Duque en directo (2019).
