Biography

Jonathan Goldman is an American musician and composer. He started as a guitarist in the Boston punk scene in the late 1970s before focusing on sound healing. In 1982, he founded the Sound Healers Association and later established Spirit Music, a label dedicated to the therapeutic use of sound and music. His debut album Dolphin Dreams was released in 1990, followed by notable works like Trance Tara (1991) and Chakra Chants (1999). Goldman's music spanned new-age, chanting, ambient, minimalist, and techno genres. He collaborated with artists such as the Gyume Monks and Lama Tashi, and his chanting was featured on Kitaro’s Grammy Award-winning album Thinking of You (1999).
