Jonas Monar, born on July 10, 1990 in Wetzlar, Germany, is a German singer. He started playing piano at seven and wrote his first song at thirteen. In his teens, Jonas Monar formed the band Port London. The group disbanded, leading Monar to move to Berlin in 2015 and focus on songwriting. He signed with BMG Rights Management and later with Universal Music. Monar released his debut single "Playlist" in September 2016, followed by "Alle guten Dinge" in January 2017, both preceding his first album Alle Guten Dinge, released on August 18, 2017. The album debuted at number 57 on the German charts and included the single "Nie Zu Ende", which was chosen as the ARD theme song for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
