Biography

Jonathan Bauer, born March 1, 1977, in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, is a Canadian singer known for his work in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM), pop music, and worship genres. Bauer began his musical career as a worship leader and songwriter, leading to the release of his debut album Life of Worship in 2005. His breakthrough came with the release of "Forevermore" from his 2011 album of the same name, which won the Number 1 Praise and Worship Album of the Year at the GMA Canada Covenant Awards and was nominated for Contemporary Christian Album of the Year at the Juno Awards. Other notable songs include "Come and Save Us" and "Chasing After Me". Bauer continues to tour extensively, performing over 1oo concerts annually worldwide, and serves as an Artist in Residence at St. Albert Alliance Church.
