The German pop singer Loi was born Leonie Greiner in Mannheim in 2003. The artist taught herself to play the guitar with the help of videos on the internet. At the age of 14, she took part in the German casting show The Voice Kids and reached the final. Initially, Loi covered various songs by artists and posted her versions online on a video portal. In 2021, she uploaded the cover of "Without You" by The Kid Laroi. The song is clicked on more than a million times. One of her fans wrote the comment that Loi could sing the TV program or the menu with her voice and it would sound good. The singer then recorded a pancake recipe in the form of a song, which has been listened to more than two million times. Loi has more than 300,000 followers on the internet and has supported musicians such as Milow and Alice Merton. Her debut single "I Follow" was released in April 2021 and gave the singer her musical breakthrough. The single "Melody" followed in August of the same year. In February 2022, Loi released her single "Pick Up". The singer achieved her first chart success in 2023 with the song "Gold". The single reached number 35 in Germany and also reached number 33 in Austria. It reached number 98 in Switzerland. The single "Left In Your Love" was released in autumn 2024. This is also the title of Loi's debut album, which will be released in February 2025.
