John Paul Keith, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, is an American musician blending rock and roll, soul, doo wop, and blues. He began singing in church and playing guitar at age ten. At sixteen, Keith joined local bands like The Viceroys. In 2005, he moved to Memphis and formed John Paul Keith & The One Four Fives, releasing Spills and Thrills in 2009 under Big Legal Mess Records. His first solo album, The Man That Time Forgot, was released in 2011. He later formed Motel Mirrors with Amy LaVere and released the album Memphis Circa 3AM. Keith's notable releases include Heart Shaped Shadow and The Rhythm of the City.
