John Gibbons, born in Ireland and later based in London, is a DJ and record producer specializing in electronic music. He began his chart journey in number 22 on the Irish Singles Chart with "Beautiful Filth", a collaboration with Scimon Tist that peaked at in 2008. Following this breakthrough, John Gibbons spent several years working on studio productions before releasing collaborative singles such as "All I Need" and "Colder" in 2013. In 2015, he signed a publishing deal with Good Soldier Songs, leading to the release of his first solo single, "Your Love", which received significant radio airplay. The subsequent year saw the release of "Would I Lie to You?", mixed and mastered by Nick Bennett and Wez Clarke, reaching number 34 in Ireland and number 53 in the UK, achieving Certified Silver status in the UK and Platinum in Ireland. John Gibbons' 2017 single "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" charted at number 48 in the UK and achieved multiple certifications across different regions. Throughout his career, he has remixed tracks by artists such as Olly Murs, Mollie King, Anne-Marie, among others. He is also recognized for his cover of "Sweat (A La La La La Long)", released on 1 June 2018. Subsequent singles include "Let Me Love You" (2020), "Why Are We Waiting?" (2021), "Edge of Seventeen" (2022), and "All I Need" (2023).
