Jason James Desiata Dy, born on June 19, 1990, in Cebu City, Philippines, is a singer-songwriter, musician, and occasional actor. Raised in Butuan City, Dy started his musical journey by working as a "haranista." His breakthrough came during the second season of The Voice of the Philippines in 2014-2015, where he performed "Stay With Me" and won the competition. Following his victory, Dy signed with MCA Music and released the self-titled album, Jason Dy, on September 4, 2015, featuring the singles "Milagro" and "Walang Iwanan." He received a gold record award for the album in March 2017.
